BACKGROUND :
Viapaq, a former Continental plant in Rambouillet, France, focused on the production of automotive related electronics. The company entered into bankruptcy in late 2018. Soon after, Hilco purchased the movable assets from the court of Versailles.

EQUIPMENT :
Well known equipment manufacturers of high-tech PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production- and assembly equipment. All laid out for high end printed circuit boards for automotive, high-tech, lighting, medical, telecom, and transport industries.
TRANSACTION :
The receiver sold the Machinery & Equipment of Viapaq in court sale, Hilco was the highest bidder Hilco was able to clear the facility within the required deadline.
HIGHLIGHT :
We were able to sell most of the assets and during the clean-up process we removed also all unsold items , some of which were built into the infrastructure. Finally, the building could be handed back in time to the landlord.
CONCLUSION :
This was a relatively small deal for Hilco, but we were happy to execute the transaction within a short timeframe.
